The Story of The Box

Dear Friends, Known and Unknown:
Today is the anniversary date of the most significant event in my life, to date. One year ago today, I was on the brink of ending my own life. I have truly never known such despair.
But as with many darkest hours, it was actually the catalyst for a year of amazing transformation. What I have learned and rediscovered for myself in the past year, where Spirit has taken me, is nothing short of miraculous.
When I gave up - completely and utterly surrendered - it gave Spirit all the room She needed to help me. And not to leave myself out of the mix, when She called to me, I finally had the sense to follow.
The events set in motion that sad yet blessed night, the people who came forth to help me, the radical changes which have come about in a short 12 months have humbled me beyond my ability to express.
I live my life daily in gratitude, and I pray that I continue to do so.
As a way of expressing my love and gratitude to the universe for all that it has so freely given to me, I was divinely inspired to send out into the world this box and rose quartz. You have received the package today because I know you to be a person of Spirit, a healer, an entity who understands, without knowing the details, exactly why I am doing such a thing. Even though I may not know you personally, Spirit does, and that is all I need to know.
It is my hope that you hold with you, close to your heart, this rose quartz, and fill it with the energy, love and gratitude Spirit bestows upon you. Hold it for no longer than one week, and then please mail The Box and rose quartz on to a person you know will participate in this journey of gratitude. Please keep the letter with The Box so others may understand. If the letter becomes tattered, please re-type it and send it on. May we, together, weave a warm tapestry of joy, love and abundance to share in this world.
Each year, on my anniversary, I will send out another box and rose quartz.
